Every once in a while I happen to be going through my RSS feeds that for some reason or another I just didn’t get to or put to the side for one reason or another. Today I came across this little gem written a couple days ago by Nate Adcock over at Smartphone and Pocket PC Magazine. Nate has a great little write-up on GoodWin, FunContacts, ZoomBoard AND a short interview with Konstantin of VITO Technology!!! (Yes the same one who gives you cool software for free in our contests.)

Me: How do you view the future of Windows Mobile in light of the iPhone and new Google mobile device? Is WM really on the ropes, or can efforts like VITO’s latest apps breath new life into the OS?

K’s Answer: If Microsoft remains inactive in developing Windows Mobile further, then it is very likely to face serious probles very soon. Frankly speaking, from the point of view of users, Windows Mobile hasn’t changed a lot for 8 years (from PPC 3.0 til WM 6.0).

Couldn’t agree more with Konstantin on that statement. And I love this part …

Me: Any other new exciting applications/technology in the works you would like to share information about?

K’s Answer: We are going to try developing for both new platforms on the market (iPhone & Android).
