The rumor mill is churning (again), and Dell is (again) supposedly developing a converged media device that might debut as soon as 2008. According to Forbes, Dell and Quanta are “rumored to be cooking up a smart phone.” Remarkably, details are scant.

Not that I’m skeptical or anything. When I see Bigfoot and Nessie playing touch football in my parking lot, one of them will almost certainly be sporting a Dell phone.
