Well, if you are a Sprint Mogul owner, there really has not been a lot of good news lately.  First the Bluetooth worked poorly.  Then, the fix for that was broken, causing Sprint and HTC to pull the latest ROM upgrade.  Frankly, this is a group in need of some good news.  So, let’s give it to ‘em.

Good News Number 1: It looks like the updated new ROM is projected to be rereleased (in a working form) by the end of this month.  The new ROM has been completed and is currently being fit tested.  As a Mogul owner myself, I will be waiting with baited breath.

Good New Number 2: This next part…well, don’t just take my word for it.  I am just going to quote from the official Sprint statement here:

HTC is currently developing a separate ROM update which enables the EV-DO Rev. A and GPS capabilities that are already built into the Mogul hardware. Sprint and HTC plan to make this software ROM available in early 1Q 2008.

Mogul users, if these two turn out to be true (and they come directly from an official Sprint statement) then all I can say is Happy Early Holidays!
