Rocking the USB world, NOT!
I don’t think I missed the point, but maybe someone can help me out here? I thought portable USB drives were supposed to be simple plug and play devices, somewhat rectangular in shape with as few losable parts as possible. We have witnessed the advancement of these devices, and ever increasing capacities, and somebody has to come along and complicate it!
I found this today over at Uberreview and it had me scratching my head a little. Too many bits and pieces and complications for my liking, but if you’re a Gibson fan you may want one for your display cabinet. You wouldn’t really use it, it’s just too many steps and the cable is five time the size of the flash drive, at only 1Gb this little beauty will set you back $69, I don’t know that I’d fork that out.
So from a travesty to USB perfection (in my eyes) a
2 Gb flash drive that is stylish and keeps time, nice right? It’s a good looking watch with nice lines and a great analogue face that is easy to read. Probably what all the COOL data travelers are wearing. $49.99 from ThinkGeek.
I had something similar a couple of years ago and I’m glad the tradition is upgraded
