‘Classic’ iPAQ 100 Unboxing at Pocket PC Thoughts

Damn it’s good to see a traditional looking PDA device from HP – a Windows Mobile Classic device that deserves the classic label. I always thought their converged phone / PDA devices were pretty ugly.

The upcoming iPAQ 100 series is a handsome looking little devil – and Jason Dunn at Pocket PC Thoughts has a great unboxing video up that shows it off quite nicely.

Some of the good points about this new device are:

  • Full SD card slot
  • Good CPU spec @ 624mhz
  • Standard Mini-USB port for charging etc.
  • Stylus at the TOP of the device!!! Man I hate the recent trend for placing the stylus at the bottom

I don’t need another classic PDA device as I’ve got an Axim X51V, but if I was in the market, this one would probably be on the shortlist. And it sure brings back good memories of some of the old Compaq and HP PDAs.
