Spb Announces Insight News Reader for Smartphone
Not long ago (OK, maybe it was a while back, but certainly not A Long Time Ago…) Brandon and I both had an opportunity to review Spb Insight. At that time, we both gave it high marks, leaving Smartphone (non-touchscreen) users to wonder what all of the fuss was about. Well, Smartphone users, now, you can finally see what the big deal was.
Today, Spb Software House, released the much anticipated Smartphone version of Spb Insight. Spb’s answer to the news reader not only allows you to view your RSS feeds, but also makes full-text and image articles available for offline reading.
The Spb Insight Online Catalog offers over a thousand news feeds in categories such as Sports & Leisure, Business & Finance, Entertainment, General News & Media, and over 70 more. Other features include:
- Unique rich-text news technology
- Huge online catalog of channels
- Enhanced RSS/Atom support
- Article thumbnails
- Easy to use
- Nine languages
Spb Insight for Smartphone is compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0 for Smartphone and Windows Mobile 6 Standard (without touch screen). All Windows Mobile screen resolutions are supported. A free, 15-day trial can be downloaded, or Spb Insight can be purchased for 19.95 USD, from www.spbsoftwarehouse.com.
Users of the Pocket PC version of Spb Insight can get the Smartphone version for free.
