verizonLogo There have been innumerable problems with daylight savings time updates, they work, they don’t work or they are flawed and require workarounds, but what if the mistake is on the providers side and not on the users side.

Apparently Verizon’s server had a little snafu, and changed the persistence times a little early, two days early in fact. This morning my alarm clock on my Verizon phone went off an hour late at 7 AM because Verizon accidentally rolled back their time for Daylight Savings. My girlfriend’s phone was also an hour behind. I called and complained since I was an hour late to work and they acknowledged the mistake gave me a $20 credit. Good luck!
