MobiTV – Handango’s Free App Friday

Yet another free app Friday! This time it’s MobiTV. However is a subscription product…so expect to be paying $9.99 a month afterwards if you like it.
Oh yes, regarding Handango’s subscription policies….
2. Billing Policies
If you purchase a monthly subscription, your credit card will be charged at the time of purchase for your first month of use. After this initial payment, your credit card will be automatically charged on the same day the subsequent month for the use of this application, until you cancel your subscription.3. Cancel Information
You may cancel this subscription by accessing your Member Account. Cancellation instructions are available through the ’Subscriptions Products’ section of your account. You may also submit a cancellation request through the form located on the subscriptions page in your Member Account. In the event you signed up for a minimum commitment period, you will be responsible for all charges for the entire minimum commitment period.
From the way this sounds, after getting this free – and should Handango have your credit card details, you’ll be charged every month after this AUTOMATICALLY. I repeat automatically…this is the first time they’ve offered a subscription product as a free product so beware!

Pedah. How is the service? I have heard it can be somewhat lacking in programming.

Doug, really nothing relevant to me in australia, I’ve already been in contact with support about programming, and I wont be continuing the subscription. My connection speed also inhibited viewing.
