WiFi for Digital Cameras


Seems like getting your photos off your camera is always the least fun part of the picture-taking process.  So this new wireless SD card from Eye-Fi looks like a very neat addition for just aboueyeficard1t any digital camera.

Here’s a brief rundown on how the  Eye-Fi 2gb wireless SD card promises to make the whole process of handling your digital pics and photo sharing much easier:

this 802.11g card requires a one-time setup on your PC before it’s ready to automatically upload full resolution pics to one of 17 websites each time you turn on your camera. Even better, a backup copy is also sent to your PC, ensuring that your photos are safely archived when your favorite social network folds.

At under $100, I’ll be taking a good long look at this card once it shows up in stores or online.
