Syncing your mobile device online?
So we’ve all had syncing problems right, well what if you could sync online? I’ve used a certain web browser recently that allowed me to sync all of my favourites to a central online database, and I can go to another computer and install the browser and all of my saved info can be synced and it’s just like being at home. Well I came across this today and it looks to offer the same sort of functionality for your mobile device. Dashwire has launched a new service to allow you to sync all of your Mobile/Phone data online, and all of your active phone data is available even if your phone is lost.
Dashwire also provides, online editing for all of your phone data, which can then be synced back to the phone, it is easier to do that sort of editing on the PC. Most but not all windows mobile 5 and 6 phones are supported, and all mobile settings can be manipulated from their website.
According to Ford Davidson, CEO and founder of Dashwire, "The potential around web-connected phones and services is the biggest opportunity in the wireless industry. Mobile phone buyers are excited by the possibilities of their phones only to find that they can’t easily gain access to the rich features … and the instruction manual isn’t cutting it."
It’s currently a free service and you need an unlimited data plan, but it offers a great, extension to your normal sync! So have a look at the Dashwire Site.
