Reasons Not To Work - Browsing JibJab Sendables

jibjabsendables

Remember the JibJab guys and their hilarious videos, like ‘This Land’ during the 2004 election campaign?

Well, now they’ve added ‘Sendables’ greeting card videos at their site - covering subjects like Birthdays, Anniversaries, Apologies, and even Halloween.  One of the straplines for Sendables is ‘E-Cards Suck - that’s why we created Sendables’ - good work.

They’ve got a good range of characters and settings to liven up the messages in each area - I think my favorites so far are cards featuring the Hall of Presidents, Schwarzenegger going berserk, a box of eggs, and a few Halloween clips featuring “EXCESSIVE VIOLENCE against animated pumpkins”.

Once you join the site (for free) you get some instant credits for sending these out to friends. The messages cost between 50 cents to $3.00 to send. I’ve sent one already using my initial credits.

I have killed the better part of my day so far browsing the Sendables and other areas of the JibJab site - and have been cracking up and enjoying being a complete slacker.

I’d especially recommend the following two clips. Please note the second one is absolutely not safe for work, is not a JibJab clip but is one of their Hottest Jokes entries, and has some profanity (but is very funny):

Right, I better do some work now. Or maybe I’ll just have a quick look at a few more …
