i-mate Ultimate 9502 – Kaiser-Like Specs, And VGA Too!

ultimate9502_1

Wow. Check out i-mate’s latest offering – the Ultimate 9502.  It has specs that match up to the HTC Kaiser / TyTn 2 / Tilt, except for the tilting feature – but it offers a VGA screen as well!

Given that the Tilt is being hailed as the ultimate (no pun intended) Windows Mobile device, this one has gotta rank as a Dream Device with the VGA screen thrown in. I know I’d love to get my hands on one of these!

Here’s some of its specs:ultimate9502_2

  • Microsoft® Windows Mobile® 6.0
    Professional
  • UMTS HSDPA/HSUPA 850/1900/2100  MHz
    GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900
  • WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 EDR
  • 256MB ROM, 128MB RAM
    MicroSD™ card slot
  • 3.0 Megapixel auto focus camera with
    LED compensation light
  • VGA camera for Video Calls
  • 2.8” VGA Touch-Screen
  • Integrated GPS
  • Video output for projectors & displays

I haven’t seen a price for this device yet, but you can go take a better look and see its spec sheet at:

Wow. Pretty cool. Kinda in line w/ the HP story, I am one of the few(?) that likes to use a “real” PDA (that is, without phone service like the iPaq 210 or 110). Depending on the price, maybe I’ll have to look at this as a PDA… (I use Verizon service, so currently no chance to use this as a phone — at least not for a few months… ;) )

Wow. I’ve almost bought myself a Kaiser a few times but I’m still holding out for a drop in the price of an unlocked one. Now iMate are complicating matters. Doh!
