Help, Are Phone Fingers real?

Phone Fingers, a sort of latex finger cover to prevent finger prints and bodily fluids, sweat/oil etc impacting on the effectiveness of your devices screen.

I have serious issues…….. with phone fingers. I’ve seen stories on these accessories for a little while, and I can’t take them seriously. The promotional website doesn’t do much to assuage my doubts either. Seriously, digit prophylactics to stop smudges on your device screen. I wonder if people are really using these things, or if it’s one of those well designed joke web sites like this, Hide-a-Pod. I’ve been right through the website, and something doesn’t seem quite right.

In the FAQs section

Which size is best?
Medium sized Phone Fingers would fit on the average sized index finger. For the thumb we recommend large or extra large.
How do I put them on?
Gently uproll them on your finger without pressure.
Can I use them more than one time?
Phone Fingers are made of very thin durable latex material. By using them gently they would last for a very long time with multiple usage.

It seems like a plausible idea to use something like this, but it’s definitely doing my head in, cause I don’t believe it and the general tone of the site is somehow tongue in cheek. I, for the life of me, can’t tell if this is a light hearted promotion for a real product. Phone Fingers are sold in sets of 25 in four sizes, small, medium, large, and extra large for Euro 9,90 a set, and come in black. Is/Has anyone purchased a set of these, and would like to let me know how they perform? If you’re interested you can view the web site here, Phone Fingers.
