How often does it happen, someone selects the wrong file by mistake? We saw recently an unauthorized release of the new WM6 office applications, because of a rampant, unbridled blog post. Well, here’s another supposed gaffe from someone at 02 Germany. Apparently the photo that went up on their site to represent the unreleased XDA Star was a photo of another yet to be released and only rumored device. There’s no 02 name for it yet, but it’s an XDA version of the HTC Polaris.

It’s neither yet confirmed, if O2 Germany will launch the Smartphone above or not (or if it was a pure mistake) nor what the name could be but if the device is O2′s version of the HTC Polaris, it’s another interesting looking Xda which follows the previously released Xda orbit design.

I think I might apply for a job, I’d fit right in.
