iPhone vs Windows Mobile, how many times?

Yet another comparison of the iPhone and Windows Mobile devices. Dieter over at WMexperts posted this under a smackdown title. His AT&T Tilt won hands down. I’m a PPC guy myself and from the onset the iPhone, without a lot of third party apps has been shown for what it is – an advanced media player with a phone in it. Even though you could say that their display technology far surpasses the current WM6 devices, people like HTC are coming out with apps like TouchFlo to rival the iPhones display supremacy. It’s the details that people are fixating on. So the iPhone doesn’t do email so well, accept that it hasn’t evolved to that stage yet and move on!

Have a look at the original article and let me know what you think, would an informed buyer, with an idea of what they want their device to do, have to make a hard choice?

This is yet another example of Apple vs. Microsoft, even though this is an informed and definitive comparison, I just think you’re (either) Apple or PC, and "never the twain shall meet".

I have been and currently am a WM users. For 7 years I have gone thru the mill of updates from PPC OS to WM6.

I am also an Ipod Touch owner and my wife has an iPhone. For myself, I’d switch in a Kentucky minute if just a couple of things were added to the iPhone – 3G, 3rd party apps (coming soon), and stereo BT, which can be added quite easily to the existing hardware. It would be nice if there was sopme kind of exchange sync available but it’s not a deal-breaker if it doesn’t happen.
