Review: SeV Explorer gadget jacket—Keeping your tech toys handy

SEV1

Over at Gear Diary, our own dgoldring got himself all wrapped up in a brand spanking new SeV Explorer jacket, just the thing he needs to stow his array of mobile toys.  Click here to read his take on SeV’s stylish new product offering.  And no, the person wearing the pink shirt modeling the jacket in the review is not Doug, in case some of you were wondering.  As far as I know we have no George Eliots here at JAMM.

Thanks, Breley. This is how you can tell an educated person. They come up with George Eliot, instead of say Tootsie. :)

Can’t they get some normal looking models, I wouldnt look like that in a scott e vest there’d be bulges. Doug don’t be so modest, you can’t hide behind the sunnies

Thanks Breles

Y’know, Judie and I were talking about this the other day. I was saying that they should drop the models and use a bunch of us writers for all of their advertising. That would look just a little more real, I suspect. :)

I think they should load them up with devices, that’s what I meant by bulges:)

Yeah, when I reviewed the SEV 237D jacket, I did take a bunch of pictures with it fully loaded. I even used it as a diaper bag and took pictures with all of the baby stuff in it. I just ran out of time to do that in this one.

1. How much does the jacket itself weigh?
2. How much does it weigh stuffed full of devices? 3. Is there some sort of weight distribution system?

Without having actual numbers, the jacket is surprisingly light both emoty and full of gadgets. SeV hasd a great weight management system which I mentioned in the full review.
