Lots of great Sprite Backup features there, but I think my favoriate is the self extracting backup file option, allowing a backup to be restored without needing to install anything.

The customized backup and restore options simply gives me plenty of flexibility in going about my backup and restore configurations – like which files to exclude, etc.

The executable backup file is one feature I like most as it takes only 1 click for the restoration to take place.

Hi,
Please count me in.
The feature I like with Sprite is that it creates backups as single executables. So whenever I need to restore, I don’t need to install the software. Another feature I like is WM6 storage card encryption support.
Thanks Sprite and JAMM.

As a tinkerer, there is nothing better than a good backup utility to resolve all the self made problems. I particularly like the upgrade mode recovery again for the main reason I can recover from a bad upgrade…This would have been really handy after the 1st WM5 upgrade for the Dell X50V which basically made the device unusable.

I like the Desktop Companion that gives me the ability to browse my backup files or configure my backup schedule from the comfort of my desktop.
Sprite Terminator is a dream for me.

Lot of great features added to v6- being able to encrypt the storage card is certainly one of them.

Talk about timing! I just completed testing Sprite Backup and love it. Being able to backup to an exe file on an SD card, and then restore from it after a hard reset is great. This backup/restore solution is at the top of my Must Have list.

I definitely like the encryption option on the backup file so that I can keep my backup data from prying eyes in the event my storage card is stolen.

Count me in also.
Love the “set and forget” option of scheduled back up. (should have the Ronco guy say that).
Definitely comes in handy if you beta test or evaluate software often….

I was pretty frustrated when I learned that my current backup program did not backup my contacts!
I like the Sprite’s ability to restore to a replacement device or after a ROM Upgrade. This is also not a common feature in other backup programs.
Please enter me in the contest.

Would love to have the industry leader in backup software! There’s nothing quite like having to use the built-in Dell backup program, or having to reinstall everything piece-by-piece.

I have used Sprit Backup since it was introduced.
I’d have to say that my favorite feature it the self executing backup files.
It is such a time saver when you are away from your computer.
I also like the scheduled backup feature, but I don’t always take advantage of it like I should. I have had several occasions when I’ve made a backup and then added applications that I plan on keeping, then forget to make a backup until the next time I have to hard reset.

I could really use a copy of this software.
I monthly reformat my i730 to get speed and responsiveness back and the self executing backup files will save me a bunch of time in applying all of the SD and mrailing tweaks to make this phone one of the best still on the market.
