Just In Time for Halloween, Gear Diary Offers You One Scary iPod Touch Video

image

If you are a fan of the iPhone or iPod Touch, then you have probably heard the claims from Apple: This screen is unscratchable. It usually comes across in the same upper case, bold letters that must have been emblazoned on the Titanic.

But is this claim truth? Or is it just a marketing ploy? If you own an iPod Touch or an iPhone, then you have probably never had the guts to really put this to the test. I mean, who wants to take a sharp instrument to their $500 screen? No one…well, no one except the INSANE Mitchell Oke from Gear Diary.

In his video, Mitchell puts the screen to the test. He attacks it in what could be considered a criminal act in some parts of the world. He starts small with a spinning coin. A torn soda pop tab. And then the gusto…well, you wouldn’t believe me if I told you. Check out the video, here and see for yourself. This guy is INSANE.

I usually carry sandpaper in my pocket. That’ll be the ultimate test…
