Lower iPhone Mail Retrieval Minutes Settings – Down to Every 2 Minutes etc.

BGR has a post up today with instructions on how to setup your iPhone to retrieve mail almost continuously. It’s really not push email with continuous polling or anything of that nature, but rather a way to set the iPhone to retrieve mail every 1 minute, or 2 minutes etc.

Even so, this is probably something that quite a lot of people are after – given that the iPhone’s built-in settings only offer 15 / 30 / 60 minute retrieval options.

You’ll need to jailbreak your iPhone and install SSH in order to follow the instructions, and it also appears that once you make your change, you will undo it if you visit the phone-related settings page.

I don’t want or need email retrieval that is this frequent on the iPhone, but if you do, check out all the details at BGR’s Post HERE.
