Earlier today, our friends over at Teksoft unveiled their new look website.  I have to say that I am very impressed by it, as it is far more user friendly and navigable than their old website.

Among the upgrades they introduced today was a new freeware section which I immediately decided to check out.  The freeware section is currently stocked with two programs (both of which look fantastic) and a promise of more to come.

Both programs are small, light today screen plugins which will significantly increase the functionality and usability of your Windows Mobile Professional/Pocket PC Phone Edition device.

A2DP Toggle will toggle your phone between its internal speaker and your Bluetooth headset.  Icons are included which will show you at a quick glance your Bluetooth strength and status.

Speakerphone is also a toggle which will switch between your handset and the speakerphone on your device.  Again, icons will display the status of your speakerphone directly on your today screen.

Both programs are available from Teksoft and, as I mentioned, are free.  As I have said before, it is fantastic to see commercial developers offer free programs when they can.  It is even better to see a free program as useful as these.

A2DP Toggle is available for Windows Mobile 5 and 6.  Speakerphone is also available for Windows Mobile 2003SE.
