Scrabble for Your Cellphone

EA Mobile has recently released a mobile version of Scrabble – the classic word-making board game – for download in North America and Europe.

EA’s version is officially licensed from Hasbro and boasts simple controls and ‘challenges for all skill levels’. It is geared towards standard, candybar-type cellphones and does not appear to have a Windows Mobile version as yet (their site is not the best yet for choosing your phone and OS version etc.)

You can choose to pass your handset and play with a friend, or select from various options where you play against the system. This could be a great training tool for those online Scrabulous bouts, or even old-school throw the board off the table in a tantrum when you lose occasions.

The game goes for $6.99 and is available at this EA Mobile page.
