TyTN 2 Review at Tracy and Matt’s

TyTN2_tilted

Close on the heels of their TyTN 2 Unboxing video, Tracy and Matt’s Blog has now got a full review up for this much (very much) anticipated device.

Their review starts by asking whether the TyTN 2 lives up to the hype – and there’s been tons, so it’s a fine question that the review (naturally) answers very well.

Here’s just some of the highlights they list for the TyTN II:

  • Keyboard: The built in keyboard is fantastic, certainly one of the best I’ve seen from any mobile device.
  • Specification: 400mHz CPU, 256mb ROM, 128mb RAM, EDGE, HSDPA, HSUPA, GPS – the list goes on!
  • Camera: 3.0 Megapixels may not sound like a lot these days but picture quality is good and the autofocus works really well. Certainly the best camera I’ve seen in a WM device.
  • GPS: I know that I mentioned this already but having GPS built into a device and not having to have an external unit is a real boon!
  • There are some notable lowlights listed as well mind you.

I was already convinced that this was my next PDA. This review just cemented the deal with the note about playing back “regular” movie files. No more having to run these files through a converter just to watch them on the go!
