Mobile Coding Competition – with GREAT Prizes

mobiledevprize

Every month OpenNETCF hosts a coding competiton for Mobile & Embedded developers.  At the end of the month, a panel of judges will decide which entry was the best and we’ll award the author of that entry a prize.

September’s Theme:

Visually Stunning User Interfaces

With the recent introduction of the iPhone, all of the buzz lately seems to be about visually stunning user interfaces so this month’s competiton is all about UI pizazz.  Have you created a control that spices things up?  Do you have a form layout that makes the user completely forget they’re using a Windows Mobile device?  Submit your code for a chance to win!

That looks good. If you’re a mobile developer, this looks like a very good site to know about and an awesome monthly competition. This month’s theme is great too – I think visually stunning interfaces are what it’s all about these days.

So comon TJCHAN and all you other developer types, get your entries in to win those big prizes and make the world a little bit better place for all of us with your sparkling code. I reckon my ‘Hello World’ app is not gonna be a winner this month!

Has anyone seen the current and only entry in the contest? It is really going to be tough to beat.

FlowFX it’s called.

Demonstration of this entry in action.

Can I do better? Let’s just say I’m still recovering from seeing this demonstration which is great as it’s now an example in the community.

Video is certainly impressive, but looks like Touchflo II:
