Boxwave Designio Leather Sleeve™ – BlackBerry Curve Review

The Blackberry Curve is undoubtedly one of the slickest devices to come out of Canada.  I had a chance to test drive one and was impressed with its simple user interface, it’s easy to use qwerty keyboard, and nice screen.  As a Nextel user, I’m not used to the modern phone conveniences, like syncing email, going online and actually having a decent sized screen to look at, and using your phone for more than calling people.  The first thing I did when I received the unit was go online while I was driving.  It was so simple.  The track ball makes navigating the screen simple.  What a joy!

The first thing I thought of when I started using this marvelous phone, was, “I can’t use it naked!”  This is a gorgeous phone that I want to show off.  I want to protect it.  I want others to covet it.  That’s where Boxwave stepped in with their excellent Designio Leather Sleeve.

The case is crafted from premium leather and has cutouts in all the right places.  As you can see, the Curve has lots of buttons on the sides and top.  The case has a built-in clear protective plastic cover to protect the screen.  The case allows perfect access to the keys, so typing messages was not compromised in any way.

The camera is on the rear of the phone,  and the case does not impede the view at all, yet protects the lens.  You can see the belt clip (detachable) closure on the rear of the case.  The case has a firm button snap that keeps it closed.

The case gave me more confidence when using the phone.  Even when I tossed it into my car, I knew the phone was protected.  It made my user experience more enjoyable because I simply didn’t worry about harming or scratching the phone.  I highly recommend Boxwave’s Designio Sleeve Case.  It’s easy to use, it looks sharp, and it protects beautifully.
