phatware-header_01

COMMENTS ARE NOW LOCKED. CHECK BACK FOR THE NEXT CONTEST!!!

Alright folks… this one is going to be a fire sale. The new contest czar is on a roll and you’ve got 24 HOURS to get your entry in. THAT’S IT. We’ve only got 3 copies up for grabs so you better act fast. I told you this would be a fire sale. Like w00t … only we don’t ask for your credit card information. The contest ends at 3AM (server time – see the clock) on Thursday, September 6, 2007.

How to win:

As always I’ll give you one (1) entry just for posting in the comments. BUT, If you spend just a few extra seconds and tell me about one New Feature in PhatNotes 5, I’ll give two (2) extra entries. Obviously I don’t want 20 posts telling me the same thing – so pick something someone else hasn’t mentioned or you won’t get your extras :)

That’s it. You’ve got 24 hours to get your entries in. Oh… and check out the new girl’s review of PhatNotes 5 while you’re at it!

By entering this contest, you authorize Just Another Mobile Monday, and its representatives, to provide your personal information (such as, but not limited to your name and email address) to the sponsors of this contest should you be selected as a winner. Your personal information will not be sold by Just Another Mobile Monday, or otherwise retained for any purpose except that described herein.

Since I seem to be first I can pick anything! So I’ll pick something I like a lot: live links for URL’s, phone numbers for instant calling, etc.

Wow, contest after contest! :)

Please do include me in this contest.

Having just upgraded my laptop to vista and my device to wm6. It’s good to know that PhatNotes supports the new OS’s, plus the synchronization using wmdc.

Thanks PhatWare and JAMM.

I’d love a copy…
And the fact that it comes with a decent 180 pages of instruction manual (in PDF or HTML) means that i’ll actually know how to use all those whizzy new features

This is something I have been looking for…Being an engineer and constantly scribbling little notes on postits and then trying to find them again…Having notes all in one location would be ideal..

As I have just upgraded to Vista I am glad to see that Version 5 is Vista complaint and also Windows Vista Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 compliant…

Throw me in for one please, and I like the idea of multiple folder sync to keep things separate.

Version 5 supports unicode and that means I can write in Asian language now. This is cool.

I do have sensitive notes I want to keep from prying eyes, so the new 256-bit strong encryption algorithm for protecting phat notes is just great !!!

I read that PhatNotes Version 5 has added new buttons and second toolbar for the Note Editor dialog. Got to be good for WM5 which I am running.

The new Favorites window which allows quick access to favorite notes should be handy as I always have a list of frequently-access notes for recording my thoughts.

No reason why I should not try for this superb product.
New feature: The Found Records dialog box is now modeless which means that you can open multiple notes without performing the search again.

I’d like to give PhatNotes a try after reading the new girl’s review. :)

The ability to rename linked notes and attachments should come in handy.

PhatWare has really good software.
I am in for this one. One new feature in PhatNotes 5 would be it now allows to export/import notes as UNICODE text or CSV.

“The contest ends at 3AM (server time – see the clock) on Thursday, September 6, 2007.”

Brandon -
(I hope I don’t get disqualified for this. I was looking for the Shout Box, but it’s gone now).

I was looking for the clock and I had to scroll all the way to the bottom to see it. Why not put it up top or just take it away if it’s gonna be in the bottom anyways?! :)

Oh, and FYI – if you have FlashBlock installed, you won’t even see it.

I shall join in the crowd which is building up fast with the 24 hour deadline…:-P
New feature: Close Note command (discards any changes made in the current note without prompt) added in the note editor window

I need this powerful Notes-taking software. One new feature that sounds cool to me is the programmable context analyzer.Wish me luck!!!

Ray – thanks for the comments on the clock. Displaying the clock and contest deadlines has been a bit of a sore subject for us. Several of us hate the clock in fact, and have only got it there in an effort to help people follow the contest deadline time – but it still seems to cause issues for some. We will look at this subject again, and we may look towards just having all contest at EST, and providing a link each time to a World Clocks site or similar.

Version 5 has got a new database manager which supports multiple groups (folders), drag and drop. Hope I will win this well-reviewed software.

I am always looking forward for another great contest:) As a non English speaker, for me the best function would be support for unicode in notes sent as email attachements:)

I’d like to win.
I like:
- the new context analyzer that allows dialing phone numbers, opening URLs, and sending emails by clicking on a word that represents a phone number, a URL, or an email address.
- the seven UI themes.
- the new favorites window that allows quick access to favorite notes.

Good grief! A great contest, a record number of entrants, and now I have to find a unique feature not mentioned above!

PhatNotes 5 has a much smaller footprint than the previous version which makes it more tempting for those of us with local storage at a premium.

When I read that it has “Microsoft Outlook Support” I was really hoping for direct syncing of Outlook notes (even via Exchange Server) but alas, as far as I know, this isn’t possible.

Just what I was looking for. Count me in!

I use phatnotes professional 4 all the time! For what I do, I never have to crack word and everything gets back to my pc and into my office documents.

I hope the color coding of the entire note line works in wm5 cause that is just what my poor old eyes need! great new feature.

Thanks for the great contests, and did I say I really need this one!

I’ve been waiting for this contest. Thanks to JAMM and Phatware.

I’ve recently got a new laptop running Vista and upgraded my phone to WM6 as well. Glad that PhatNotes now support these OS.

Also like the full unicode support in the new release.
