BGR is reporting that there is a Windows Mobile 6 update on the way for the Samsung BlackJack – this month!

Keep in mind that we’re dealing with conjecture and rumor right now, but that shouldn’t be a problem, right? It seems that both AT&T and Samsung have confirmed that the smartphone will be the proud recipient of a Windows Mobile 6 facelift on the 17th of September. The update, if it drops, will be made available by way of a carrier supported download.

Sounds like very good news for BlackJack owners. Are you hanging on to your BlackJack for this update, or looking ’round for newer devices now?
