New SCOTTeVEST Jackets and Free Shipping

Posted by: Judie on Aug 21 2007

It’s hard to believe in the midst of the heatwave that has been baking much the US, but fall is coming, and SCOTTeVEST is ready. Take a look at the latest news from Scott & company…

First, we are introducing 2 new jackets, the Explorer and the Evolution. Without a doubt these are the coolest jackets we have ever made, and they represent a true evolution in our design. They have fewer yet more purposeful pockets with improved over-all styling, all with the ability to control your iPod® directly through the fabric.

The Explorer jacket is available now, and is made of water repellent microsuede, with 20 pockets. It is a great looking traditional style with non-traditional, functional features that we have become known for. It is a perfect fall and winter jacket. To learn more, press here.

The Evolution convertible jacket is our new signature jacket, with 25 pockets, water-proof AND breathable, lightweight material, removable sleeves, and tons of unique features. It’s perfect for about 250 days a year. To see the details, click here. This jacket will be shipping around October 15, but if you order now, you will save 20% ($30).

We are running our free ground shipping* (for orders over $75 within continental US) offer for another week, so order by next Tuesday to save even more.

Also, after 7 years, we finally caved in and listened to all the women out there begging us to make styles for them. We will have 2 models in 3 colors coming in December and January. We will keep you posted, but if you want to be the first to know, simply send us an email, and we will notify you when we start taking pre-orders.

We are coming out with a new print catalog in October. We are very excited about showing off the new stuff there. To make sure you get one, please update your information here.

My new favorite SeV for the cooler nights is the SeV Performance Pullover — ¼ Zip. The whole performance line is truly addictive.

I think the Evolution looks slick, and I can’t wait to try the new women’s line! I still have and wear my v2.5 women’s vest from years ago, which I believe was the only femme SeV item made until now. Does that mean it’s a collector’s item? ;-)
