The HTC Shift has got some rave reviews lately, including the recent video run-through that Brandon posted on HERE – and now it’s got a price of $1499 at Dynamism.com.

It’s still listed as ‘pre-order’ in terms of availability, and Dynamism offers this brief description of the Shift:

The HTC Shift ships with Windows Vista Business and has enough power to run Vista’s Aero interface. It has a slide-and-tilt 7-inch wide aspect ratio touchscreen that slides to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard. As you would expect from HTC, broadband wireless is integrated — including 3G, HSDPA, and quad-band GSM. Other wireless connectivity includes WiFi and Bluetooth.
This UMPC is powered by an Intel A110 CPU and 30GB hard drive. The integrated camera is an asset for video Skype on the move.

It’s HTC’s first real UMPC, and by all accounts a very capable one. That price is not low though. It would still be very nice to see a top-notch UMPC at that price point that MS originally touted for these – closer to $500 than $1,500 that is.
