Frankly, I’m not making this post because I care in the least about the phone, or that it is in any way a ground breaking device, or anything of that nature. This post has one simple goal – and that is to clear up what some sites I’ve seen have totally mis-understood from the original post at BGR.

T-MOBILE HAS NOT ANNOUNCED THAT THEY ARE LAUNCHING A 3G NETWORK WITH THIS PHONE.

Hopefully that was clear enough. Granted they are launching a phone with 3G capability, and typically one only does that if they intend to launch a 3G service shortly … but again there’s no firm details of a 3G network launch from T-Mo (yet!).

I’ve seen a bunch of sites that have taken this post at BGR completely out of perspective and reporting that T-Mo is launching a 3G network in September. So… atleast you JAMM readers will know the truth.

Believe you me … the minute I know T-Mo has a 3G network online I’ll be posting about it. Especially if they beat CingulAT to the Denver market. I’ll then be calling CingulAT and asking for a refund.
