Mobile Device Management - A Simple Outline

In Brandon’s SecuBox review the other day, he noted (quite rightly) that security on mobile devices is far too often overlooked. That applies to all of us as individual users. Another area that often seems to be sadly lacking attention - probably even more so than with individuals - is mobile device management within companies and organizations.

Steve Reynolds at the Enterprise Mobility World site, has a great post up which provides a very clear and simple framework for tackling this subject. For stressed out IT managers trying to get a handle on this tricky subject, Steve’s article looks a great starting point.

Mobile Devices are getting increasingly sophisticated and as such should be treated no different to a laptop computer when it comes to mobile device management.

Check out Steve’s post HERE.

I discovered Steve’s site via a recommendation at Jason Langridge’s Mr. Mobile site. Have a look at that for some details on Steve’s background in the mobile arena.
