Teksoft Releases The New FingerTouch Software Keyboard
Our friends over at Teksoft announced a new tool for those few remaining Pocket PCs without a built in keyboard (sorry, guys, my Mogul has a great keyboad). If you are still jamming on a Dell Axim, Compaq ipaq, or HP Pocket PC (and who could blame you) then you are going to want to check out the new FingerTouch Keyboard.
With the FingerTouch, Teksoft has tried to devise an innovative solution to bypass many of the problems with data input on a Pocket PC device. The result is a software keyboard which allows you to truly use your fingers while typing, while leaving the screen and text fully visible. The compromise between big buttons and small screen space has been carefully analyzed, and the result was the implementation of smart algorithms that are based on letter order statistics, or on technologies like “UltraKeyboard” that offer improved typing speed.
FingerTouch costs $9.95, but includes a 16 day trial period, so you can try before you buy. Additional features include:
- 5 different Keyboards to chose from
- UltraKeyboard technology Built-in
- Finger friendly, big buttons
- Smart keyboard based on English letter order statistics
- Smartphone-like keyboard support
- Bonus: Screen Capture utility included!
- QWERTY standard keyboard with big button
- Highly configurable with Skins support
For more information, check out the FingerTouch website.
