Possibly the Prettiest Laptop Bags

The lovely Alison pinged me this morning to point out the drool-inducing wares at the freshly launched J’tote, a fashionable laptop bag company located in Austin Texas. These bags are very feminine and stylish, and they can all carry up to a 15" laptop. One bag can handle a 17" laptop, so you mega-MBP users are covered.

Take a look at a couple of my favorites…

This is the Saoirse, which according to the J’tote site, "is a limited-edition, deep purple leather tote with a stunning beaded stingray accent, truly a unique combination of sensuous materials available with either a pink or purple stingray insert."

This is the Maeve, which "is made of soft, supple, organic brown leather, which will age beautifully and naturally. Shaped like a satchel bag, Maeve is designed to be worn across the body for maximum comfort while carrying your laptop." Maeve looks like a bomber jacket to me; I can almost smell the leather…

Next up is what looks like a great fall bag, with lots of soft contrasting materials: the Alannah. According to J’tote, "Alannah is a limited-edition style combining purple suede with a bold floral fabric, creating a luxurious juxtaposition of colors and textures. Smart looking and functional, Alannah is shaped like a briefcase and can be worn across the body for maximum comfort with its padded shoulder strap or carried stylishly with its purple suede handles."

And then there is the lovely Melania, which "is made of soft, supple, organic brown leather, designed to age beautifully and naturally, and is accented by bamboo handles and wooden beads on leather tassels at the side. Exuding elegance and functionality, Melania can be carried with the stylish bamboo handles or worn across the body for maximum comfort with the detachable padded shoulder strap. " I wonder if the bamboo handles would hurt when the bag is loaded? Probably so…good thing a comfy shoulder strap is also included. Hrm, I would totally carry this bag as a purse.
