Clinton Is Unboxing and We Are There (Well, Not Really, But We Wish We Were and We Can Tell You All About It)

You know, here in what a lot of people call the blogosphere (a term which I never much cared for) we writers typically kick, bite, punch, and backstab in order to get an actual device to review.   Ultimately, the last one standing will receive favor from the device manufacturer.  Usually this entails being allowed to touch their hallowed new device…typically fro 30 days.  Just enough time to realize how your life will never be the same without it and then send it back.

OK.  Obviously, I am slightly exaggerating here.  My point is, however, that it is really difficult to get a device to review.  Typically, there are hundreds of reviewers scrambling to get their hands on only a few sample units.  So,  we, here at JAMM, imagehave to work extremely hard to get them.  Because it can be so difficult to get a review unit,  I was surprised to hear recently that our good friend Clinton Fitch at Clinton Fitch(dot)com recently received not one, but two brand new devices to review.  In addition to the HTC Touch (right) which he unboxed last week, today, he is unboxing the T-Mobile Wing (above).

Of course, Clint seems to think both look like pretty cool devices.  Like most HTC devices, Clint noted that both the Touch and the Wing (which is based on the HTC Herald) sport an amazing user interface, coupled with wofully inadequate memory.

Check out Clint’s unboxing of the HTC Touch and the T-Mobile Wing, and check back in the coming weeks for full reviews of both devices.

Too bad there are more screen shots. A video would even be better!
