Did a masked bad apple run off with your Apple? Well, he’s in for surprise if The Big Apple has its way with the newer generations of smarter iPods. How does this work? Guardian circuits will compare codes buried deep within the core of the device, and if codes don’t match, the charging circuit is disabled. Simple yet effective…but how will this affect consumers who buy 3rd party charging devices? Guess we’ll find out all the logistics at a later date.
