Contest Results: Summer Splash!
Our Summer Splash contest has ended and a special thank you to our sponsor, SplashData!
We received many answers to the question what type of a wave is generated when a rock is dropped into water….and the answers were numerous and correct.
Some of the acceptable answers were:
- A splash wave.
- A tidal wave (from an ant’s perspective).
- A longitudinal wave.
- A mechanical wave.
