    I watched the video but it’s an apples and oranges comparison.

    The clue to the iPhone is in the name: it’s a feature phone NOT a PDA. It’s not called the Mini iMac or the Mini iBook. It’s not trying to be a workhorse or the centre of productivity. They’re not directly challenging HTC – they’re aiming at Nokia, Samsung, and Sony Ericsson. Those manufacturers make cellphones that have some media capabilities. So does Apple now – only they’re doing it far better than any of those others as far as I can tell.

    Of course, Apple are also charging a lot more for their product so it’s going to be an interesting ride.
