According to The Boy Genius Report, Google is now working on a mobile-specific search engine. This will truly be a mobile search engine as the search results will be websites that are mobile friendly – optimized for mobile browsers. The current http://www.google.com/pda is mobile in the sense that the Google search pages themselves are optimized, but the search results are the same as the standard Google.com results thereby making you drown through unoptimized content. Not sure when this will be out, but I’m sure looking forward to it.
