Wireless Charging – Less then a month to wireless salvation!

We knew that a wireless charging revolution was on the horizon back in April we talked about Powercast, a company that was soon to deliver us from all those unsightly and inconvenient cables. However, PowerCast has been beat to the punch by another company – WildCharge. 777 is certainly a number which many believe has special properties. That number is also the day of deliverance (July 7, 2007) from those entangling wires as WildCharge will be releasing it’s pad charging system to the world.

Using non-inductive technology to pass the current from strip to the device’s special case,  devices can be charged safely and quickly. Just place any device that is fitted with a WildCharge adapter on the WildCharger™ surface and it will immediately receive full power for charging and operating! You can even place multiple enabled devices on the pad, simultaneously powering them all, even if their power requirements differ!

According to Gizmodo:

This is the real deal, folks—get your $49 ready, and that includes one "enablement case." Additional cases are $10 – $20, depending on the device. (Thanks Gizmodo for the photo!)

For us wired people, we are also getting uncluttered and saved from those unsightly wires with the new ChargePod. Stay tuned for our upcoming review over the ChargePod where we’ll be showing you that being a gadget guy or girl doesn’t mean that you’ll have to freak out your parents with a messy room from all of those charging cords!
