Doug, can you still remember playing this game? After reading your Revival review I saw a mention of this game someplace else, and the trial seemed easier to pick up and more interesting to play. Since you've been playing (probably) all the maps, would you say that this is a really recommendable game?

What I'm mainly asking is how you feel about this game more than 6 months after playing this game, does it leave you with the satisfied feeling that you've completed a large game (because of all the maps and different characters and atributes etc) or did you feel like "well it was quite fun to play, but I immediately moved on and forgot about it"?

I just heard from iO UPG that a new release should be coming soon. I am anxious to see what new features will be included. I'll post an update when I have more information.

Like you, I've been intrigued by this kind of games, but they're usually not my cup of tea when it comes to playing them. Five characteristics, along with 26 skills, etc etc etc... All the economy combined with armies and castles that these kind of games bring are often simply too much for my simple brain. :D

I've always said that I thought the graphics in Astraware's Hammer Heads didn't look too good, until I started to play the game and found out how fun it was. But, that defenitely doesn't mean that graphics are not important to me. They are! And of course I can't comment on soundtracks or animations from looking at screenshots, but it seems that the screens are very useful in displaying the relevant information in a clear way.

Finally, I'd like to agree on your positive comments about how the developers interact with customer input. This makes the development process more visible to the (potential) customer and that can improve the faith that the customer has in the developer. :D
