Waterproof Phone – Bad News For Me!
I’ll find nearly any excuse not to answer the phone when my caller ID shows my mother-in-law is calling. Because when I answer the phone, I get such questions as, "do you need me to come over and help you clean the house?" – as if we are the biggest slobs in the world, or "Isn’t it a shame that Cheri has to work?", my wife works two days a week by choice! and we have 3 little kids, or "we just saw so and so and they’re kids are winning awards for whatever. Don’t they have great children!"
So I stopped answering the phone and just say I’m in the shower. But now with the new Verizon G’zOne Type-S, I can’t use that excuse anymore!

PC Magazine has done a review on this phone. It contains bluetooth, has no dial-up networking, works underwater, uses the slower 1x version of Verizon’s EVDO network and and can run Voice Genesis’ Vemail email program.

You know, if I get this phone for my wife, then SHE can answer the phone while she’s in the shower. Hmmm, not a bad idea!

I wouldn’t use the phone in the shower. The soap makes everything too slippery so I’d probably have the phone fly out of my hands just like the bar of soap and get damaged from the fall. It’s not the water I’m worried about, it’s gravity and the mass of the shower floor. =P
