iO UPG releases Pocket Heroes Strategy Game.
iO UPG announced today the release of Pocket Heroes – a turn based strategy game with Role Playing Game (RPG) elements. Pocket Heroes keeps abreast of the best traditions of both RPGs and strategy games; incorporating various suggestions from players across the globe, to ensure the best and most robust game possible.
Pocket Heroes features a classic fantasy world, colorful graphics, and amazing gameplay, all of which fit into a stunning and intuitive interface. The game has 5 difficulty levels and offers the player 37 maps, 36 heroes, 73 unique artifacts, and more than 50 constructions.
The main points of the game are development and battle. Use any of the 7 resources to improve your castle. Don’t forget to establish your army both to protect the castle and to conquer new lands. The so-called Heroes – troop leaders – play the key role in the game. In most cases, it is crucial to have a skilled hero in order to win the game. Each hero can have up to 4 primary and 22 secondary skills. In addition to this, a hero can learn more than 40 spells.
Fans of multiplayer games will enjoy the hot-seat mode, which allows several players to play together using one device.
Pocket Heroes 1.01 is available at http://www.pocketheroes.org/. There is a free demo-version which will allow you to play the full game in only two of the 37 maps. Games in the demo version also cannot be saved.
The cost of the full version is $19.95 US.
Keep watching this space for my review of Pocket Heroes, coming soon.

Cool! I’ll be waiting for your review Doug.
. I’ve been a fan of Heroes (desktop version) from v1 to v5. And have had a chance to play with the beta version of pocket heroes. Can’t wait to get my hands on a released version.
