While the case is open, the screen is also vulnerable to minor offenses such as finger prints, scratches and dirt, as well as visibility being affected by overhead lighting which can generate a glare on the screen.  The Proporta Advanced Screen Protector combats these problems by being that little bit thicker than rival brands, which has the added bonus of making them easier to apply too.
