Video Unboxing of the HTC Advantage at Gear Diary

When my good friend, Judie Lipsett Hughes, at Gear Diary told me she was planning to do an unboxing video of her new HTC Advantage, I admit that I vehemently tried to talk her out of it.  Frankly, to me, a video unboxing typically ends up being nothing more than a pair of hands and a disembodied voice showing off some new device that you will never see in real life.  Or, as our own Steve Laser more succinctly put it, "some old dude fondling a toy you can’t afford."  As Judie is wont to do, however, she shattered this boring old mold.  Check out her video review of the new HTC Advantage.  Her facial expressions and body language should tell you everything you need to know about what she thinks of the latest offering from HTC.

I felt like a dirty old man watching [Julie] Judie unbox the Advantage. I have to take a deep breath and watch it again! That was great, and the Advantage was cool too. $1200 on Mobile Planet seems a bit high, but I’m waiting for [Julie's] Judie’s2nd video. I’m collecting them all.

[EDIT: For as much of a crush as Steve seems to have developed, you would think he would know that this video was done by JUDIE, not JULIE.  Sheesh.  At least get her name right.]

I was so excited by the video, that her name didn’t matter anymore. It was all about the product.
