Wall Street Journal Gives Thumbs UP to Samsung Q1
Walter S. Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal gave the original Samsung UMPC a harsh review last year, and indeed, it was spurned by consumers and fell flat in the marketplace.
So what makes the upcoming Q1, due out in just a couple weeks, better? According to Mossberg, "The biggest improvement: Even though the Ultra is a tablet computer, still able to accept handwritten notes and meant to be controlled by a stylus, this new model now has a built-in keyboard. It’s just a tiny BlackBerry-style keyboard but it makes writing emails and typing in Web addresses practical."

The Q1 delivers other improvements as well, and starts at a lower $799, compared to $1099 for the original.
