Earlier this week, Skype 2.2.20 beta for Windows Mobile was released. This fixes some random crashes on calls.

The main new features of the new beta version 2.2 releases of Skype for Smartphone and Skype for Pocket PC are:
— Support for Microsoft Windows Mobile Smartphone
— Support for some Pocket PC with less than 400 Mhz
— Skype for Smartphone and Skype for Pocket PC now include a Home Screen plug-in and a Today Screen plug-in respectively for quick access to Skype. When Skype has been successfully launched and user has signed in, the plug-in acts as a dashboard that allows user to view and change his/her on-line status. It also shows the user the number of new chat messages, missed calls and new voice mails.
— Users have an ability to conveniently start a new chat while in Chats-tab
— Enhanced contact list on Pocket PC : Contacts now have separate buttons for starting calls, chats and more.
— Proxy Support : You can use Skype for Pocket PC and Skype for Smartphone in corporate networks that have proxy
