AT&T 8525 Firmware Available via BGR
According to the folks at BGR the long awaited update for the 8525 is now online (legally).
This ROM updates the phone to allow Push-To-Talk, Cingular Video, Blackberry Connect, and many bug fixes. It’s available as a free download, and takes about 25 minutes to install. As with any firmware upgrade, make sure to have constant power to the device, so you don’t brick the phone, and have everything backed up.

ninja – there is not an official WM6 update specifically for the AT&T 8525 as yet (supposedly coming this month). There is a WM6 update for this HTC model though. You should be able to find it on HTC’s site. If you’re going to do it, along with all general caution and backup tips, I recommend this great post from radimus at Aximsite:
