WM6 Standard: Creating New Documents Workaround

According to Jason Langridge, users of Windows Mobile 6 Standard have a work around of the built in limitation which prohibits users from creating new documents. By creating a new Excel or Word document on a PC and then transferring this blank file over to the mobile device, one can then use "Save As…" to save to a new filename of one’s choice. With workarounds like these, Microsoft really should have just let users create new documents.

I have never seen an explanation as to why you can’t just create a new document. Then again, I had to sit here and remember what exaqctly WM6 Standard is.

“I just need a WM6 device to go along with the app” – my thoughts exactly! I’m glad that people are solving all of the little issues with WM6 before I get on board
