HTC Shift UMPC Making

The Shift is the first UMPC to use Intel’s Ultra Mobile platform based on the Pentium M architecture.  It yields a longer battery life and better processing power.

Slashgear tested one out at the CTIA.  The Shift features an innovative Qwerty keyboard, 3G UMTS/HSDPA, Quad-Band, BT 2.0 and WiFi.

This is a picture of a preproduction unit.  No prices have been announced.  This model is due out later this year.

Thanks to JK on the Run for the info.
