As you may have seen posted on JAMM a few times in the past one of the biggest complaints we all seem to have is that there just isn’t a dammed thing to watch Joost. Well okay, there’s some things to watch but after a short while you’ve pretty much seen it all. Compare it to the 80 hours of Tivo action I have at home and there just isn’t much reason to bother with Joost. Well, it looks like that just might change….

I’m extremely pleased to tell you that America’s most watched network will be available on the Joost platform when we launch this spring.

CBS has signed a deal with Joost to make top current and classic programming available for free, to our viewers. That means that you will soon have on-demand access to programs like CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, CBS Evening News, CBS Sportsline, Survivor and much more.

My only concern here is that with CBS onboard, NBC, FOX and the other big boys decide not to jump onboard and just launch something similar on their own… I guess time will tell. Either way, I look forward to seeing how this service progresses (and how much it ends up costing in the future) since we all know bandwidth isn’t cheap.
