Opera Mobile 9.x Will Support WM2003se

According to Menneisyys at PocketPcMag, Opera will continue to support WM2003se.  That’s great news for me and the rest of us who use that wm version.  Opera, according to Menneisyys, is far better than the built-n Pocket Internet Explorer in terms of page loading speed and, well, in terms of virtually every feature.  Check out his Windows Mobile Web Browser Bible for more.

I’m using the beta of Opera 8.65 right now, and it’s about a million miles ahead of Pocket Internet Explorer. It includes tabbed browsing, faster page loading and better screen rendering. On a VGA device, it’s almost like using a desktop browser.

And I’ve got WM2003SE and no plans to upgrade just yet. So it’s reassuring to know that Opera will continue to support my device, while Microsoft’s upcoming Deepfish browser is WM 5.0 and newer only.
